The Institute of Physics (IOP) has awarded the Isaac Newton Medal and Prize to the Iranian American scientist Nader Engheta, a pioneer in the field of nanoscale optics and metamaterials. Engheta pioneered “groundbreaking innovation and transformative contributions to advancements in the field of physics.
